In 2013, we adopted a six-week-old puppy named Max, a Jack Russell mix. Shortly after, we felt the urge to adopt another puppy and decided to bring home a Pit Bull puppy, which we named Dakota. Initially, Dakota was timid and calm, leading us to believe she would be a laid-back dog, but we quickly learned that her name truly reflects her wild and free spirit. At the time, we were unsure how to train our dogs effectively, which led to a lot of frustration. One of my friends recommended we contact Stacey for dog training help. When she came for home visits, both dogs immediately responded to her guidance. We realized then that we truly needed training ourselves to create a happy, stable pack. Once we grasped this, we took the training seriously and saw significant improvements in a short time. I believe our dogs’ success is thanks to Stacey, and I can't thank her enough for her support. We plan to take refresher courses soon, not only for our dogs but primarily to keep ourselves updated, as we often forget how to properly interact with them.
